  • ADHD
Our practice does not offer ADHD evaluations, screenings, or controlled medication management for ADHD. Non-controlled (non-addictive) ADHD treatment options can be discussed as it relates to other symptom management.

    Suboxone
We do not currently offer Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone) or opioid use disorder treatment. We understand how important access to appropriate care is, and we encourage individuals seeking Suboxone services to connect with a licensed MAT provider who can best support their needs.

  • We offer medication management and focus on treatment options that do not include controlled medications. We do not prescribe or continue controlled substances in our practice.

If you’re open to exploring alternative treatment options, we would be glad to connect and see if our approach feels like a good fit for your needs. If your preference is to continue with controlled medications, we completely understand and would recommend continuing with your current prescriber or seeking a provider who offers that type of medication management.

  • Our practice treats patients 18 years and older.

  • No. You do not need to be a Christian to receive care at our practice.

We are a Christian psychiatric practice, and we ultimately believe that true hope, healing, and restoration are found in Jesus Christ. This conviction informs how we approach care, with love, prayerful consideration, and a commitment to treating each person as created with purpose and worth.

At the same time, mental health care is always patient-centered. We welcome individuals of all faith backgrounds, as well as those with no religious affiliation. Participation in faith-based discussion or prayer is never required. Your personal beliefs will be respected, and faith is incorporated into treatment only if you choose and desire it. Our treatment always remains collaborative, respectful, and grounded in evidence-based psychiatric practice.

  • We understand that life can be busy and unpredictable. However, in order to make the most of our limited appointment availability and serve as many patients as possible, we ask for timely notice of any cancellations or changes. A cancellation fee may apply for missed appointments or insufficient notice (less than 24 hours), as this time could otherwise be offered to another patient in need.

Detailed information about our cancellation policy will be provided during the intake process. We’ll review it together to ensure a clear understanding and to give you the opportunity to ask any questions.

  • At this time, we are a cash-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. This allows us to focus more on your care and less on the restrictions that insurance companies sometimes place on treatment.

If you have out-of-network benefits, we can provide a superbill after your visit that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Many patients are able to receive partial reimbursement this way, depending on their plan.

  • Forgot when your upcoming appointment is? No problem, there’s a few ways to get that information.

    • Log onto your onPatient account at anytime to see upcoming appointments.

    • We send out several reminders via email and text the week of your appointment.

    • Fee free to call us at (904) 206-8963.

  • We are a tele-health psych practice, our appointments are held over video. Patients must be Florida residents to receive treatment with Hope First.

  • Due to the high demand for care and the limited time available each year, our practice is focused exclusively on direct clinical services. This includes meeting with patients, managing medications, communicating with pharmacies, and coordinating care with other healthcare providers.

As such, we are unable to complete administrative documents or provide letters, including but not limited to: short-term or long-term disability forms, FMLA paperwork, school accommodation letters, or Emotional Support/Service Animal letters.

Additionally, we do not conduct evaluations or provide documentation for submission to third parties for legal, employment, custody, or similar purposes. If you require these types of services, we recommend seeking assistance from a provider who offers administrative evaluations as part of their practice.

  • We're happy to answer any additional questions you may have. Feel free to reach out via email with any inquiries, and we'll do our best to assist you.
